FingerLakes Cannabis Co. is a locally-owned dispensary in the heart of Victor. Built by neighbors, for neighbors, inside a piece of this town’s history.
Our Story
Founders Tim Hay, John Welch, and GM Mark Byassee have lived and worked in Victor for over 20 years. They know this town and wanted to do something good for it.
The idea took shape around 2020. Tim had always been a strong believer in cannabis, and when it became legal in New York, the timing felt right.
When they found the space on Railroad Street, they knew it was special. It was one of the few commercial properties available, and it was a place they could build something lasting.
The building itself is a piece of Victor history – a real train car that once carried passengers through this very community. Tim, John, and Mark love thinking about all the people who walked through those doors over the years, heading off somewhere new. Now those same doors open to a welcoming, relaxed cannabis dispensary. It’s a new chapter for the building, and for Railroad Street.

What it’s like to visit our dispensary
Step inside and you’ll find a cozy, welcoming space – 750 square feet inside a one-of-a-kind train car. It’s small by design, and that’s the point. You’ll feel it the moment you walk in.
There’s no rush at FingerLakes Cannabis Co. Some customers know exactly what they want and are in and out in minutes. Others have questions, and that’s just as welcome. Take all the time you need.
Our staff knows the products firsthand, from training and experience. Every vendor sample gets tested by the team so we can give you honest, grounded guidance.
Everyone who walks through our doors is different. Some customers are seasoned and know exactly what they’re after. Others are new to cannabis and are just getting acquainted. We meet you where you are.

We focus on craft. Most of what you’ll find here comes from smaller, independent growers and makers, with an emphasis on those close to home in the Rochester area.

Space is limited, so we’re selective. We carry products we truly stand behind. If it’s on our shelf, someone here can speak to it from experience.
Delivery Service
Get cannabis delivered to your door in Victor and the Finger Lakes. Fully licensed, compliant with NY law, and discreet from our dispensary.
Same-day delivery is available Mon-Sat, 10am–6pm. We serve nearly two dozen zip codes in the Victor, Rochester, and surrounding Finger Lakes area.
Our commitment to the FLX community
We’re not just open for business in Victor. We’re part of it. We sponsor events at Terrapin Depot, partner with local spots like DeWolf Brewing, and show up at town favorites like the Jingle Mingle and the Spooktacular. When we host events, we like to give something back – we regularly raise money for the Victor Farmington Food Cupboard.
