October is universally considered breast cancer awareness month, with organizations, brands and ordinary people coming together to educate people about the most common form of cancer among women and help raise money to fund breast cancer research.
At FingerLakes Cannabis Co, we’re joining the cause by partnering with Ayrloom for their “Drink Pink” campaign to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer education and research.

Ayrloom’s Drink Pink Campaign
Breast cancer affects millions of women every year, with 2.4 million reported cases in 2024. While undergoing treatment, many patients turn to alternative therapies, methodologies and even cannabis to support their journey towards recovery. Recognizing the importance of this, FingerLakes Cannabis Co partnered with Ayrloom for their Drink Pink campaign this month.
Ayrloom’s campaign works by highlighting their 1:1 THC:CBC Rose, with the packaging draped in pink to get the point across. A portion of every sale of Ayrloom’s Rose goes towards the Baldwin Fund. In addition to finding it on our shelves in our dispensary in Victor, you can shop for Ayrloom’s Rose on FLXCannaCo’s online menu as well.
The Baldwin Fund is a Central New York organization that funds breast cancer research, education and patient advocacy. Last October, the fund pledged to raise $50 million in five years in partnership with Upstate Medical University, having already donated $4 million to 77 research grants that are studying various potential cancer cures.
Raising Awareness Beyond October
While raising awareness for such an important issue and dedicating a month to it is admirable, to help improve our odds of tackling breast cancer and all forms of cancer, it is incumbent on all of us to educate ourself, raise awareness and show compassion, love and support to all people who suffer from the devastating consequences of this affliction.
